Hope Hearth was founded on a simple observation: too many people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are served by systems designed for institutional convenience rather than individual flourishing. We started this organization to build something different.

Why We Started Hope Hearth
Hope Hearth LLC was founded in Indianapolis by Omar Hasan with a mission to provide person-centered, community-based services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
After witnessing gaps in Indiana’s IDD service system — families unable to find providers, individuals on waiting lists, aging caregivers with no transition plan — Omar built the kind of provider he would want for his own family.
In March 2026, Hope Hearth received BDS approval for CIH, FSW, and MFP services. We are a new provider — and we believe that’s an advantage. We have no institutional legacy to overcome.
